Playstation 3 - PS3 Console

The Playstation 3 is the third video game console make by Sony. You can store music, images and video or data downloaded from Sony's online service as the Playstation 3 has a 80GB removable hard disk drive.

Remote Play

This feature allows you to control and access content on Playstation 3 using your PSP, by either wirelessly via the internet or a private network between Playstation 3 and PSP. You can switch the Playstation 3 on from any location and access data stored on the hard disk drive. Remote Play works with Play TV, a service that lets you watch, pause and record live TV from a huge range of free channels using your Playstation 3. You can remotely on your PSP watch live and record TV shows. You can exchange photos, videos and music from the Playstation 3 to a PSP, they are designed to work together so this can easily be done. Game developers are working on ways to integrate the PSP system into the Playstation games.

Sixaxis Wireless Controller

This has been created especially for the Playstation 3, with amazing new functions, making gaming into the next generation.

You can connect up to seven controllers to the system wirelessly using Bluetooth technology and avoiding twisted wires making multiplayer gaming easier to set up.

The controller is also motion-sensitive, using six axes to detect movement, making the gaming experience unique.

DualShock Wireless Controller

This controller has the same features as the Sixaxis but has an added feature a vibration which creates an extra level of immersion as part of your playing experience.

Playstation Network

This is free to access for all Playstation 3 owners when they sign up (broadband required), giving access to a wealth of services, allowing you to play games online or chat with friends via text or voice.
